I will contact the other club that wants to share a judge. Sari Tietjen is offered as judge for the all breeds. Christy motions that we contact this judge for our remaining 2009 judge and if she is not judging groups over the weekend to see if she will stay after for a casual convcersation, QnA session. 2010 National Theme - Enchanted Evening (Thursday) Rainbows and Roses (Friday National) Canine Cavier and critterbeds will sponsor - we will include links from our WEB site to their pages. Trish to work with chainsaw carver to make carved Pom National Sheila's company will ship if the winner needs. Their company gets big discount. For High combined get same as breed trophy, also consider getting another smaller one for raffle. Trish to talk with wood carver to see if we can make a deal with two. Sheila and Christy to get budget set for National show. Need to make a 2009 - 2010 trophy donations listing for next meeting.
Fundraising - Calandar Diana to send calandar informaiton to Christy. We decided on an 18 month calandar. July month is club member group photo. Raffle the cover page, included one month inside. Each month page sells for $40. Christy motions that we take the cover and July for the club and that we sell the remaining 14 months. Sheila second, all in favor. Michelle motions we have a non-sanctioned funmatch all breed confirmation and obedience in Jan. Michelle to be match chairman and work with Ann - Identify facility and date. We need have those items identified by next meeting. Entry $5 confirmation, obed 5 for one run 8 for two. Christy proposes, CGC test - Michelle 2009 chair to request Sat/Sunday that we have show times early in the day. Need to request from Cathy Corbitt location to have CGC at Stumptown 11-4PM. Charge $15 per entry. ALL CLUB MEMBERS NEED TO BE THERE TO HELP! Sheil second, All in favor. Michelle would like us all to try to get more members. Would like us all to encourage all to push it. Guest, Lisa - volunteers (if elected to join) to post listings at locations likely to bring in supporters/donations to the club. Diana suggests to make lifetime members an option. General consinsence is that there really is no interest in that. Diana suggest to make something on the WEB site to give the benefits of being a member. Trish suggests (via Terry McIntyre) that we sell priority seating in ropped off section - maybe a padded seat. american temperment test society - Ann to find out informiaton on how to administer these tests and how to go about putting on these tests. Health clinics - Gary Woods is available in 2009 for heart clinic. Diana to contact Cathy about availablity. Christy proposes that we focus on one clinic this round so that we are not getting ahead of ourselves. Sheila proposes that we work with 3-c's on ensuring that there is equipment available for National. Make sure we are advertising availability. Add on to the trophy donations list a section for hospotality donations. Diana is to chair corporate fundraising efforts. Lisa submitted application for membership.

2009 Specialty - Sheila has requested Reader and Reviews. - Christy has received rosettes and delivered to Michelle - Christy received Cert of Insurance and delivered to Michelle - Michelle to contact Fabian by phone to verify flight information and payment amount. - Michelle to send reminders to all judges with self addresses stamped envelopes for written confirmation. Note that Roxanne is willing to ring steward for us in the future.
2011 National - Christy to email with APC contact about whether we are giving the National and two specialties or if the National replaces one of the specialties - Christy to check of month requirements from APC. When is Summer Can we do it in October with the Vancouver Kennel club. - Christy also to get the National Specality Guidelines from APC. Not sure we have a current copy. - Robin to verify ballroom price if we cannot fill the 40 room requirement. Christy motions that we use Red Lion for the Nations and that Robin to follow through with Red Lion on contract - pending date solidification. Tessa seconds, all in favor. - National theme is Enchanted Evening - Christy presented the actual item for Faux Paw Productions art and re-affirmed that the prices we are getting are 30% off from the prices presented in last meeting - Final opportunity to bring National trophy suggestions at the August meeting. - Dorothy to invite Marlene to the August meeting for discussions on the National.
Fundraising - Christy pulled the photo contest for lack of participation. - TV has been purchased and ticket sales are on-going. - Christy to add pictures of the TV to the club site and shopping cart - Christy to make posters for specialty.

2010 Specality Trish volunteered to be show chairman. She will be contacting other shows in to see about moving our specialty to combine with another cluster.

Specality 2010 -Christy proposed that we stay with stumptown for 2010 and do two in one day. We can then decide at VCC or not. National and 2011 Specality - committee chairs assigned - Parade of titleholders - Christy to get price for pens for cpc - redlion - dates Oct 26,27 and 28th robin to get contract and have them email it to ann - ann will email with us of any questions or concerns, we will then let Robin to know how to proceed. Christy motioned, Michelle seconded - Karoki after seminar on friday - trish in charge of it. - banquet on thursday - everyone bring your walkie talkies - robin left message for celeste about getting names for judges - If we find the judges and vc can use them they will pay for the airfair. 2010 Specality comittee - dog beds at JnR - 17-18 beds - costco beds - trish has information from nancy thomas from Thomas Poms will have more information later - christy presented logo ideas - use danny pictures, put cpc on the roulette wheel. -Trish has requested same ring - and the updated judges list - dorothy presented Bobble Head dog - dorothy to check on cassino night of Friday - cgc on Sat - Corbet can give us ring 30 minutes following BIS - need to make sure we have adequate members helping with the event. Christy to let them know that we will take it.
2011/National Specality - christy presented enchanted Evening logo - discussion was that having two themes across the three days would be very disjointed. concensus was we use rainbows and roses for the National/Specalities and save the enchanted evening for a later event. christy will do another logo and bring for next meeting. - christy presented pen informaiton and sample. - credit application from Hotel - christy to talk with Onofrio and ribbon co, t-shirt folks, to see if they will list as references. - Hazel has friend who is artist - brought examples of her art. - Remind all to bring trophy proposals for November meeting.
